Four Sets of Quadrupoles:

First Set
The quadrupole ion deflector is an electrostatic mass analyzer based on ion energy, dynamically focusing and mass-filtering ions while deflecting them by 90 degrees to separate from neutral components and photons, directing them to the next quadrupole stage.

Second Set
A quadrupole mass analyzer, used as a mass analyzer or to guide ions to the universal quadrupole cell. It includes a long pre-quadrupole for better high-energy ion focusing, achieving unit mass or better mass resolution, with optimal resolution < 0.3 amu.

Third Set
The universal quadrupole cell, the only quadrupole-based cell technology on the market, features dynamic bandwidth mass tuning capability (enabling effective control of reactions) and comes standard with axial field technology (allowing the use of any desired gas). It functions both as an ion channel for focusing and accelerating ions and as a mass selector for specific ions, suppressing byproduct reactions in the cell to completely eliminate interference.

Fourth Set
The second quadrupole mass analyzer, used as a mass analyzer or to guide ions to the detector. It achieves unit mass or better mass resolution, with optimal resolution < 0.3 amu.
